The picturesque Cambrian Coast railway line runs gently close to the sea view pitches at Hendre Hall, so why not chug your way to Pwllheli and Aberystwyth or enjoy all of Snowdonia. Nestled in the countryside, but right by the sea, this site offers non electric pitches for motorhomes and well maintained pitches for campers too.
If you fancy a glamping break, there are a set of cosy pods that are sure to take your fancy. Packed with insulation to keep you toasty, you can take in stunning sunsets from these and enjoy comfortable beds, with a heater and electric provided. These are a great choice for families - just remember to bring your bedding with you!
Ideal for a couple is the Caban Hendre shepherd's hut which is full of charm. You'll have a double bed and comfy sofa bed, plus the cosy warmth of a log burner and it's the perfect glam base in the country.
Don't forget to bring your bedding along with you! Due to Coronavirus, the site is not accepting any camping bookings. Glamping only accepted. From there, turn left towards the coast on the A, following signs for Tywyn. Continue straight on the A for around 10 miles until you reach the edge of Llwyngwril, where the site is situated next to the children's playground to the left of the road, with a clear sign indicating its entrance.
Site facilities shared between campers and glampers include toilets and showers 20p. There is a wash house with hot water for washing up, a washing machine, tumble dryer and communal fridge for guests. There is a private path from Hendre Hall down to the beach which is a 5 minute walk away. Family eco pods which sleep up to two adults and two children or three adults inside. These are insulated and include a double bed, single sofa bed and an extra camping bed mattress.
