Make sure you have the Sim you want to be abducted selected. Then, click on the mailbox and choose:. You can NOT stop this from happening. Once set in motion, your Sim is getting abducted. Although both male and female Sims can be abducted in The Sims 3, only male Sims can return pregnant without the use of mods.
Once this moodlet expires, your Sim will give birth. The game does not consider male Sims to be truly pregnant. Instead, they are simply vessels or hosts in which the alien baby grows. They do not receive maternity leave or change into maternity clothes. Alien babies born through abduction are considered full aliens and will have alien powers when they grow up. The following list assumes you have no abduction-related mods installed: Your Sim has to be on the same lot as the UFO.
It must be between the hours of AM and AM. Load your game. Go to the Lifetime Rewards tab, hold down Ctrl and click in the blank space to the right of the treasure chest. You may have to click around to find the exact spot. Once you find it, keep clicking until you get to 40, points.
If they are asleep, it will not work. This website uses cookies to improve your experience. We'll assume you're ok with this, but you can opt-out if you wish.
When a UFO comes to visit your house, you'll hear a special eerie tone. The alien may not even abduct any Sims; she may just arrive to say hello and examine various objects around your house. Aliens are just like any other Sim, and you can invite them inside and befriend them like any other.
Aliens eventually leave and cannot be visited, but can be called like any other neighbor. Pyro is feeling lonely, and he hasn't seen Asewuk since she arrived last season, so he decides to call her up.
From the relationship panel, we click Asewuk's picture and choose "Chat," just like any other Sim. It isn't long before they're talking the night away! Because Asewuk doesn't have a job, she's available to talk at any time during the day, which is good for Pyro since he's now got the Night Owl trait.
Their relationship progresses to the point where Pyro soon invites Asewuk over, and thing get soon get serious. Several probings later, Asewuk is a regular at Falkon Towers.
This reveals a few strange quirks with aliens, as their hair styles may vastly change among different outfits. Asewuk for example has long bluish green hair in her nightgown, but is completely bald in her normal space suit.
None of this affects how Asewuk actually acts, though. She's a typical Sim in almost every way, other than her skin color and creepy eyes. Her Energy meter is replaced with the "Brain Power" meter that decays significantly slower. She restores her brain power in one of two ways: either meditating a self-interaction , or by eating space rocks that have hit the ground. Aliens must have pretty strong teeth! Asewuk also has the ability to transmute any gems or metals into other, possibly more valuable materials with a simple command.
It's not a game-changer, but it may give you some bigger profits, especially if your alien has the Gatherer trait. Asewuk also comes with her own UFO that she uses as her personal vehicle. Not only is it stylish, but it has several functions that make it special. Until then, an icon of the UFO labeled "Return Home" will appear in the Sim's action queue, and his or her motives will fluctuate wildly.
If the Special Event Camera is enabled, the Sim's return will trigger a cutscene. Otherwise, the UFO will appear, hover above the street, and unceremoniously drop the Sim onto the street.
This does not harm the Sim, although he or she will bounce. Other Sims and pets on the lot will come to watch, at least if they are awake. The front of the UFO opens when the Sim is ejected. This can be seen in the cutscene, or if the game is paused at the right moment and the display is rotated so that the front of the UFO is visible. If the abducted Sim is an adult male, he will always come back pregnant , so long as he is more than 5 days from becoming an elder , and there are fewer than 8 household members when he is abducted.
Knowledge Sims will gain a positive memory of having met aliens, while Sims with other aspirations will gain a negative memory of the abduction. Other Sims will not be affected by the abduction, though they may acquire memories of it, with Knowledge Sims gaining a positive memory of the abducted Sim having met aliens.
Additionally, to be abducted or have a relative abducted is often a want for Knowledge Sims, and a fear for others. In fact, it is not unusual for an abducted Knowledge Sim to return with a want to meet aliens. If a Sim is abducted more than once, he or she will get a separate memory for each abduction.
The odds of being abducted are very low, on the order of 0. If the Nightlife expansion pack is installed, a Sim who has been abducted at least once may be abducted while using the ElectroDance Sphere on medium or high, even if he or she was a teen when abducted the first time. A Sim abducted from the Dance Sphere will disappear and reappear some time later. Being abducted from the Dance Sphere does not cause a Sim's motives to fluctuate.
Each Dance Sphere will only trigger one abduction, but the odds of abduction are much higher than with the telescope. In FreeTime , all telescope actions carry a chance of alien abduction, but the top aspiration benefit for the Knowledge aspiration, Summon Aliens , allows a Sim to create a spotlight with a flashlight and telescope, which greatly increases the chance of abduction. This benefit can be used with the Astrowonder telescope as well as with the Farstar e3. If the Special Event Camera is enabled, the cutscene will play no matter which telescope is used.
However, if the Special Event Camera is disabled, a Sim abducted while using this benefit with the Astrowonder will simply vanish, as the Astrowonder has no abduction-specific animations. Aliens are very important to the Strangetown story especially with The Curious Brothers , but play a lesser part in Pleasantview - except in the case of Bella Goth and the Caliente Family.
A player who wants a Sim to be abducted can use " boolprop testingcheatsenabled true ", then shift-click any telescope, and select be abducted.
This cheat does not work after Seasons , or Bon Voyage is installed. It also will not result in the Sim having the memory of alien abduction, but will still result in pregnancy for male adult Sims 6 or more days away from the elder stage.
By default, alien abduction is disabled in The Sims Castaway Stories , but it can be enabled with mods, [2] and male pregnancy works in the game. In The Sims 2 for consoles , alien abduction works as in Bustin' Out , except that abducted Sims will vomit and will yell at other Sims for no apparent reason. The Sim will not become pregnant or have a baby. One of the most popular methods of getting a Sim abducted is to make sure the Sim has high Logic and is in a good mood.
Have the Sim gaze into the telescope for several hours, and at some time, he or she will be whisked away by a beam of light from the sky. On it, are giant green crystals and odd rock formations, and it is the only place in the game where a Sim may be abducted.
